If the kings are willing to risk trading their unprotected 1st 2023 draft pick for Paolo Banchero you fking do it, Paolo is not going to turn the kings into a playoff team. I honestly think Sam Presti's big board is 1:Jabari 2: Ivey 3:Chet 4: Paolo.. and it fits with rumors of Ivey being #2 on some teams big boards. I am willing to believe Presti is only high on one of the three bigs and knows magic are taking Smith #1 so might as well try your luck next year for Victor with your pick and the kings lottery pick.

Ivey is a better playmaker than advertised. I do think Jalen Green is the better scorer, while Ivey relies on his coast to coast speed.

Ivey will have to adapt to Green. He will hurt us, if Green 's scoring opportunities are significantly decreased.

The Kings are being run very poorly, and that might be good for us.

Carmelo is not the playmaker Banchero is. Banchero is more Lebron-lite or modern Webber than he is remotely close to Carmelo.

Do you think Sac will go after Chet or Banchero?

I don't see Banchero as a Lebron-Lite at all. I do see him being similar to Webber.

got to say I am starting to like the idea of Ivey running with Jalen....I see Ja in Ivey a lot...Draft Ivey with hopes of flipping Wood/Ego and 17th to move up to get Duren. I like Triple J as the nick name.

Banchero is the most NBA ready out of the three bigs, kings are on video saying we are not coming back to the lottery, Banchero looks like he will come in and be a star at least to the kings FO and the GM, KNOWS HE HAS TO MAKE PLAYOFFS or he will be fired Banchero gives him the highest chance along with fox and Sabonis to maybe fight for a play in.

Makes sense. There's a very good chance of Ivey being the best scorer and passer in the draft.

Ivey is a nice player with speed and quickness, but he is always going to his right and he a average shooter

I remember everyone was saying if the Rockets trade for Green.....Porter and Green would be the most dynamic backcourt in the NBA. Now people are saying, Ivey and Green would be the most dynamic backcourt. He need real size, strength and talent inside the paint for us offensively and defensively. Wood does give us 20 points a game and 10 to 12 rebounds but he plays no defense(no interest), ball hogger and does not work well with Green. Wood needs to go and draft Pablo and sign Mo Bamba this offseason and then draft Tari f\rom LSU

I’ll admit it boys I’m a KPJ homer whether it be PG or SF but bro I just do not see it in Ivey

Can someone please explain? From what I see KPJ is more talented, skillful, and seems to come alive in 4th quarts/clutch moments

Ivey won’t reduce Green’s scoring opportunities any more than Banchero would. You saw how KPJ ran the floor with Green this season, it’d be the same with Ivey.

    Front office playing this perfectly.

Through Feigen, they release they were really happy to get 3rd and just take BPA.

So OKC floats interest in Ivey, likely as a way to gauge whether Houston could screw up any trade back scenarios, and Houston wisely releases that they are going to look at Ivey as well to create “the most athletic backcourt in the NBA.”

None of this shows how Houston has positioned their board. We could have any of the top 4 at any slot for all anyone knows. It forces OKC to come to Houston first with trade back scenarios, and keeps their asking price in check.

I like Banchero, but you 100% go BPA here. If Ivey is #2 or 3 on their board, you take him.
