Not a good deal for me :/ Anderson + fillers at best. And i'm not even sure i would do that if Melo can be bought out.

If he's bought out it's probably cavs for him. Or we could sign riddick because we wouldn't need Gordans "playmaking" anymore. We just need to get Melo at all cost if we are actual serious to win a ring. Anything less than Melo is literally a waste of ****ing time to even try to beat GS or cavs
Who would be our backup point? According to codman, i guess it'd be Brandon Jennings but im not a Jennings fan. I'd rather keep Gordon than have Reddick though. Rather get Ibaka(for reported cheap deal) + a defensive or versatile SF with great length like James Johnson + 3rd Center.
Without Melo we are wasting hardens prime and any chance of forming a super team. With Melo we probably have a legit chance of forming the "banana boat" in Houston. Without Melo he could go to cavs and we will be stuck at 3-4 or 5th best in the league for the next 5yrs and that's if CP3 will stay next season without a big 3 or super team. We are in high risk mode and any less is pointless after gutting for CP3
I would hate to do it, but couldn't the Rockets use the pieces of the not-really-TPE and combine it with Ariza's contract and future draft picks to create a pretty enticing sign and trade with Toronto for something like $18 million a year for Ibaka? Then they could turn around and use the full ME on someone like Miles to essentially play Ariza's role. I love Ariza, and I get that he has ties to Harden and Paul, but he's absolutely replaceable.
