its an intriguing move especially with Stuck mid range game and coming off a year of shooting .39 from the 3 if we can add Perk, That gives a potential back up line of Nick Johnson (if he takes that next step great to play him next to Stuckey) , Stuck, Dekker, T. Jones (probably to Montrezl develop) , Perk (if we can sign him)... Not bad plus with a package of T. Jones, Pap, and Prig who no ones what we can get. I would try and acquire Jack, Lawson, or Collison if we don't resign Bev which is highly likely.
I think he knows the situation he's in. He's not the first option for these contenders he wants to play with. He has to wait and see.
It's unfortunate that this is a common line of thinking among Rockets fans. Re-signing all our FAs + Stuckey would be a nice offseason. We keep a dominant starting unit together and further add to our depth, all while keeping flexibility for the FA Bonanza in 2016.
Doubt he commands that much. He signed for like 1.25 million or something last year. Something in the 3 mil range would be about right i think
What Im reading is that he's a much better PG -specifically on the ball- defender, than a SG defender.

Here's the facts: We won 56 games and made it to the WCF with the core we have now. Dwight Howard only played half the season. Our star player is only 25. I'd love to get Aldridge. But we're solid without him, I'd jump on a real opportunity for a playmaking combo guard like Stuckey. Could come off the bench or even start if we don't re-sign Bev. Harden basically plays PG anyway so it might actually be better to have a score 1st player at the "pg" spot.
^this x 10000.... i don't want to lose ariza. he saved our ass some games with his defense. let's keep brew/bev and sign stuckey.
He won't go to Washington because Houston is a better fit. He'll be the starter here in Houston which is a better situation for him and the Rockets are contenders coming off from a west finals loss he can't choose Washington over a better, winning team like the Rockets unless the Wizards overpay him but I doubt it. Houston is the best fit for him or another top contender like the Clippers or Blazers will be a good choice. Washington just lost Pierce why will Stuckey waste his talents on another mediocre team?
He might prefer a definite payday, versus waiting around on another offer that may/may not materialize depending on what LMA decides?
Stuckey as a 6th man would be perfect. Rockets are fine with Beverly starting, but our biggest issue was the lack of someone else that can attack the rim and score on their own.
