Worth noting that Pierce and the Nets have played better with Pierce at the 4 as opposed to the 3 last season -- this might factor into the Rockets interest in Pierce.
It all depends how much he wants. I would definitely welcome someone of his experience. People said ray allen was done but he did wonders for them. We need vet experience badly. We are lacking some veteran leadership. He doesn't need to be captain but if he can steer harden in the right direction then I would welcome his presence.
JJ would be awesome here. He`d stretch the floor while still allowing Harden, Dwight, and Parsons to do their thing. Dwight TJones Parsons JJ Harden

he really is Harden's nightmare, a guy that runs around like a bubble bee to get an open shot Harden idea of catching Reddick, "He moves so much I'll stop him on his way back"
Lol ain't nobody paying Pierce 9-10 million per year at this stage of his career. That's like Deng's price.
That's a lot less than "$9-10 million," but yes, he'd be a good addition with the MLE for 2 years if it's after Morey has made his moves, in my opinion (and that assumes we can use the MLE when he's done - no sure thing). I'd prefer someone younger, but Pierce still has some game. His defense has taken a hit due to his age, no doubt, but he's still very decent, and he can still score. Pierce is still an excellent shooter from behind the arc. He'd be really nice to have come off the bench for Houston for around 20 minutes a game. Probably ain't happening, though.
