Go after him in free agency next offseason if it makes sense. Honestly, Jabari and Sengun might both end up being better players... and Tari could be right there, nearly as good for much less $$$

Will that be enough? I mean, we do have about 65 million tied up in FVV and Brooks for at least 2 years. Maybe in two years if you are willing to give up on the third year of FVV's contract.
In 3 years if Amen is not ready to take the reigns from FVV then the Rockets screwed the pooch with that draft pick. Amen should be ready to start by the end of his second season so they can decline FVV's 3rd year option.
