Been wanting Turner for years, don't see anyway we could outbid Boston.

Boston isn't offering Smart and Hayward for Turner straight up doesn't work financially.

Ainge sits on his hands and tries to low ball. Morey throws the whole kitchen sink.

Well, the great thing is that Houston has always generated open looks during the Harden years.

Your argument would be much more persuasive if you weren't using terms like "superstar" and "elite" to describe Eric at any point of his career. He's obviously starter-level talent for most NBA teams, but his current contract would make him hard to trade if he hadn't redeemed himself to some extent during the playoffs.

As for the sports psychiatrist fixing his missing three, it's always a reach to say someone's yips can easily be fixed, and besides, 36% from 3 is nowhere near elite in today's NBA. Of the players who took enough 3s to qualify, 90 of them shot better than 36%.

Eric was a superstar talent. There is no doubt to that. He was the key piece in getting the best point guard in the NBA (maybe ever) to the Clippers.

    Came here to post this.^^

I am sure Danuel House is waaaaay up there on most offseason target lists, lol.....When you have EG and House to offer in free agency, its gonna be a long offseason.

I don't know how much Myles Turner and Damontas Sabonis overlap. I looked at their stats just now; Turner's minutes and numbers have inched down over these seasons the two have played together as Sabonis' have inched up.

You always have to be careful about the "maybe a change of scenery" argument, although God knows, Turner would have a lot of room to maneuver on the Rockets (our only real big who will probably be camped on the three point line).

You can't bank on him being more than a super role player just like you can't bank on Eric being more than a defensive microwave.

When’s the last time morey pulled off a trade that made the rockets drastically better. GMs
don’t like losing to nerdy number crunchers. They’ll always try to rip him off

We'd prolly get more out of him on that salary than we're getting out of Westbrook on the supermax, amiright? Amiright?

For people that watched the playoffs closely, EG was able to control both CP3 and Lebron as well as anyone possibly can. Lebron was forcefully looking for switches every single time EG was defending him.

If we keep EG though, we need to get him going off the bench as the 6th man. He doesn't rebound enough to start with this current team.

Dream scenario would be WB for Brogdon and Turner, but Indiana would have to be really desperate to fill seats to do that.

    Brogdon
    Harden
    House
    Covington
    Turner

Thats a baller lineup, much better than what we have now.

I'd love that too but If we are talking wild ass trade scenarios.

Kawhi for Eric and Russ. PG wants Russ in LA and apparently Kawhi hates everyone there except Doc.

I don't know why you're even wasting your time making a trade proposal for WB. This is for you and everyone else dreaming; he isn't getting traded, get accustomed to the idea of seeing him in a Rockets jersey next season.

Myles Turner has a career free-throw percentage of 77%. He’s not a liability like Capela was.

I remembered his playoff % and confused it for regular season. 44% on 7/16 shooting. Even better that way.

Turner’s good regular season free-throw percentage hasn’t translated in the playoffs. For his career, he makes 77% of his free throws in the regular season but only 63% in the playoffs (41/65). It seems the pressure gets to him.

much smaller sample size that likely will balance out over time. 63% is still fine by me. He gets to the line a lot for a big.
