Looks to be a gunner PG rather than a replacement for what Bev brings to the table, and not a particularly good combo guard as well. He has trouble getting in the lane against Euro PGs with his first step without a screen, I don't see how that is going to be good against NBA level PGs. Also, at least according to the highlights, he doesn't have a habit of finding his screener rolling to the basket, which severely limits his effectiveness in the PnR considering that NBA bigs are mostly athletic enough to hedge and deny the immediate drive.

Like the move. We are really thin at PG with Bev hurt. Obviously Lin isn't capable of starting and Canaan isn't ready yet

I meant the guy "in the video"can't dribble and a step slow as a pg, not Lin~ Lin's problem lies in his shooting...his shooting form is totally different from that at the start of the season...he somehow just lost it after he came back from his knee injury.

In an interview with Hoopshype, Malcolm Delaney basically makes it sound like the Rockets made him an offer, but he couldn't go because he didn't have an out in his contract and his club wouldn't let him go.

So we had Reggie Williams from VMI, now Troy Daniels from VCU, and rumors of Malcolm Delaney from VT. Does this mean we are drafting Joe Harris from UVA next?

Morey likes those players from Virginia schools I guess.

With Lin good as gone, Canaan I think will be out back up PG. We will sign another undrafted PG (Ryan Harrow???), and continue with the NBAs best farm System. Would love him on the Vipers though...

I bet Detroit would trade Josh Smith for Lin and Fillers (all expiring contracts).

I think Milwaukee would give us Ilyasova for Lin as well.

Delaney just won the Finals of German league with Bayern Munich. Was named both regular season and Finals MVP, too.

Still eager to prove himself in the NBA, stating right after the game that his goal still is to play in the NBA.

No question he's got NBA-level offensive game. Would like to see his D.

It's good enough. He's nothing special on D, but not a liability. No worse than Canaan, certainly.
