Right - I guess I don't understand why we are pursuing this guy when we have multiple guards better. Insurance policy is the only thing that comes to mind, but if we're starting this guy or even playing him more than 10 minutes a game, our seasons done.

He can be another Beverley. I'm not saying his play style is similar to Bev but i'm saying that he can be a solid role player coming from a random euro team like what happened to Beverley.
Bring him in and see what he can do. It will not hurt to have another pg in case Lin is really hurt and Beverley is not ready for the beginning of the playoffs.

It's hard to know what a player can do from watching highlights in a video. I won't name any names, but I can thlink of 1 player in particular who has lots of great highlight videos but also can't make it past half court without turning the ball over.
no one hurts our team more than Lin. If you can't see that, you're delusional. i have never seen a player drive to the middle of the lane, jump up without knowing whether he's going to shoot or pass. he does this at least 5 or 6 times a game if not more and it either results in a turnover or a terrible shot attempt. the only way lin scores is if he has an open lane to the basket or a wide open jump shot. i've seen so many times this season that average defensive pg's look like all defensive players when guarding Lin. He just can't seem to dribble by anyone. worst mistake by Morey so far. should have just kept Dragic. Dragic on this team would be amazing.
