I see that he likes to shoot the 3,attack the basket and find open players. Also it seems like before he goes to the rim he sees where his teammates are so he knows where to dish the ball to when he goes to the paint.
Delaney was the first guy I thought of when thinking about possible Euroleague signings. Saw him twice in person this year. Definitely NBA caliber and would fit the Rockets style of play. If he can be bought out for a reasonable amount, I'd bring him in and waive Daniels just to be save. It's not like Daniels is going to crack the rotation any time soon.
Whaaaaaaat? You mean he actually doesn't just run in randomly, jump in the air and then give the ball to the closest player next to him? That's weird...
Yeah, or him. If y'all care for a statistical profile / advanced stats of Delaney, go here: http://www.in-the-game.org/stats.ph...yer=DELANEY, MALCOLM&level=player&sub=summary
If I'm a GM and I catch wind Morey is about to sign some random point guard for nothing, I'm offering a 3 year deal with a team option for the 4th asap. I don't even need to know his name, just sign him.
I"m not entirely sure why they wouldn't do this? What happens if Lin/Canaan get injured? I'm not saying Delaney himself, but Morey has to be working on backup plans to his backup plans... which at this point can only include low hanging fruit. Most of the former NBA have beens aren't that intriguing to me. Consider, a little over a year ago Patrick Beverely was an unknown (to most of us) playing in Europe. If Delaney is a guy DM thinks has some potential, I hope he makes a move if he can.

i saw his game 2 times against us (galatasaray) and i would say his game reminded me a little bit of ty lawson. Numbers can be deceptive because there are a lot of difference between nba and euroleague. His skill set serves him well in euroleague but i dont know what kind of affect he would do in NBA. He would need at least a year to adjust his game just like beverley did, he wont be an instant impact in playoffs.
this guy looks awful... looks like an average athlete playing against lesser talent, and still looks incredibly herky jerky. Not better than Canaan and definitely not better than Lin.
well, there's a reason why he's in europe and the other two are on an NBA roster.....he would have been as solid as you can get for a cheap and immediate option that's eligible for the playoffs. i don't think anyone is expecting to find a diamond in the rough every time.
