@Carl Herrera ....who is the Magical Knight? Was he in, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail?" Was he the Black Knight that had his limbs chopped off? I loved that guy. He was tough. Limb was cut off & he said it was just a flesh wound. "None Shall Pass" & "I'll bite your legs off."
Yikes, Harrell had 4 rebounds and 0 blocks in 32 minutes. This game is a bit of an outlier but anyway you slice it, his defensive rebounding is poor.
The Magical Knight lived in a magical kingdom. He is from a faraway land and once fought with our leader. The Magical Knight is known as Sir Gibaca of Orlando.
@Carl Herrera ...Oh that Knight. He Is a good one. Ibaka has a better 3-pt shot than the Black Knight. Black Knight throws swords well & kicks to the groin like Draymond Green.
Bruh, hit me up when you decide what sides you want w/ that big'ole Crow. It's short-term, hyperbolic laden, crap like this which clogs up the forum. Nene is killin it, and his parents could have been cast in Coming to America which pwns your Buehler ref all day day er'day. Oh...wait...uh.. bye.
Yes, it would be very exciting watching him picking his nose at the end of the bench right now. What could have been.
You must have missed the part where the rim protector (Onuaku) was left on the bench in favour of a point guard? KK doesn't fit here. Immobile rangeless unathletic - how would he have done anything positive for the offence?
He wouldnt on offense, coulda provided interior DEFENSE. With Rockets dead last in allowing points in the paint, can't say a defensive big wouldnt be somewhat useful
Firstly: (a) we aren't dead last in points in the paint (b) we beat SA in points in the paint last game Secondly: what do you think the benefits of having a stiff in the paint are for our offensive scheme? While KK might reduce the opponent points in the paint somewhat, how much would he also reduce our points in the paint? There is a reason that MDA is trotting out Ryan Anderson at the 5 at times. It is called a philosophy. If you think Nene was signed for his defensive presence alone, you need to think again. It is about his multi-faceted abilities on the offensive end, in the frame of a 6'11 guy who can also defend bigs. KK would be picking his nose (and eating it?) while sitting for 48 minutes a night if he were on the roster.
Before you talk about how he wouldn't fit offensively you should check out the advanced metrics in PnR. He was one of the best in the league as a roll man. Would have def been an underrated acquisition that paid off. He would have been playing the Harrell roll tho. When NeNe rested b2bs and for injury insurance. But meh these were targets we were eyeing because we were trying to move brewer. We got a better player albeit at a higher cost. Lou -1st > koufos+1st
I didnt say Koufos would be difference in 2nd round and winning title. Only that he'd be a defensive OPTION by matchups and situation. Rockets tried to get Andrew Bogut who's a stiff on offense besides screens and passing. Rockets trotted Omer Asik out there before, not an MDA player but played in similar philosophy. And report is its the Rockets who were interested, its not all fan speculation. (Its been mentioned multiple times in playoff broadcasts that Rockets are 30th/last in points in paint allowed. I'm going off that, not making it up) Again I agree Koufus isnt all that, but it doesnt have to be Koufusm. Its obvious opposing bigs have their way with the Rockets. Even ol' D-Mo would be someone to throw at them to obstruct the layup lines
MDA wasn't the coach while Asik was here... Bogut is multi-dimentional on offence. He is an excellent passer, and can set the best illegal screen in basketball. He would be playing had he come here and not injured himself in CLE.
