If he gets waived, don't we get first dibs since we're the worst team record-wise?

He's going to clear waivers, and then he's a free agent and can sign with who he wants.

Only if we want to pick up the balance of his $18m salary. Which of course we can't do even if we wanted to because we're hardcapped.

If you claim him off waivers you have to pay the salary. If he clears waivers you can sign him to a vet min contract. He will clear waivers.

Mouthpiece Feigen says not interested. Not that Johnson would be interested either.

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Nothing happening there. Hey Jon, Brewer & Ariza aren't "PF" either.

Start a team with Harden, Ariza, & Johnson. Let Ariza guard PGs full time.

On the bright side Josh Smith and Joe Johnson had good chemistry in ATL. reducing Brewer and Lawson or Terry minutes and giving it to Joe may be a great thing.

Still lost on why Bickerstaff didn't play smith in the 4th quarter against the Jazz but whatever.

Correct! I hope the Rockets consider bringing in Joe Johnson the only thing team can really offer him is more PT then any other team I believe.

He leaves one team not in the playoff picture for another team that isn't? Makes sense. Not to mention this team which is highly dysfunctional.
