HOU future Center? Chris Haynes: Undrafted center out of Fresno State, Greg Smith, in serious discussions w/ #Pacers, #Thunder, #Heat, #Nuggets, #Knicks , #Rockets. Twitter
Filling out training camp roster most likely. But here's a note on him: From DraftExpress.com http://www.draftexpress.com#ixzz1fQQVdAjf http://www.draftexpress.com You know what they say about guys with one-foot wide hands.

I really, really wanted the Rockets to take a late flyer on this guy in the second round. Massive body, MASSIVE hands. He is a big boy, and just a blue collar/nice guy. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tVSbE6fMkzU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> 20 Years Old 6-10 250 7-3 Wingspan Biggest hands the draft combine has EVER seen... 36 inch vertical Kendrick Perkins potential? His 6'8.5 without shoes, he measured 6'10 in shoes. He essentially measured the same as Emeka Okafor.
He's worth a training camp invite, but if you expect him to be insurance for Hayes, you'd be disappointed. At least he's an efficient scorer.
I'm pretty sure the larger your hands, after a certain point, the more difficult it becomes to shoot accurately. I don't think bigger hands are always better. Jerome James was signed to that horrendous contract by the horrendous Knicks on this basis. Look how that turned out.
I was excited when I saw "Greg" thinking it was Oden and the Rockets were picking him up cheap. Greg Smith? BFD.
