Whats good about Charlotte is that they have a couple small bad contracts we could take back w/o giving up alot of talent. We could use Yao's expiring.
Portland is always interested in the same players we are. *rollseyes Thing is, I thought they value Batum A LOT. So where does Wallace fit in for them?
is he the one who guards kobe when they play LA ? cause the bobcats have owned the lakers for years...
Better player than Wallace. He's why Bobcats were in playoffs in 09/10. Wallace would be good trade if it were to Dallas for Caron Butler's expiring contract. On the Rockets his contract would hold them back when they need cap space in 2012 to give them a real shot at getting a superstar.
If Morey can bring in Gerald Wallace and Nene... I just might go crazy. We might have to lose Courtney Lee in a deal for Wallace, though.
Cpt. Jack still has it! I love his attitude ad it would be something good for a change. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rV4T0Oy0Q7A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Wallace would fit in very nicely at the 3 between Martin and Scola. Wouldn't mind the deal at all, assuming it's mainly a salary dump + one of the young guys. The defense and rebounding would be awfully nice, and he can help on offense as well without being forced into a bigger role than he can handle. Terrible from the outside, though, and pricey.
The last "nutjob" we got help take us to the second round and the Lakers to 7 games. Every team needs a nutjob lol. But he would be an upgrade over Battier or AB as a 6th man.
Brooks wasnt a nutjob back then. Trust me. There is no chance at the Rockets bringing Jackson. Wallace >>>>>>>>>Jackson Better rebounder and defender, which is what we need. Cap space has never been an issue for us, nor anyone for that matter. If a player wants to go somewhere, they wind up there. Right now, we have to focus on becoming a "destination" rather than freeing up cap space.
In related news, larsv8 does not watch Bobcat games. SJax is still pretty good, but you're right about the nut job comment. I think he's one of the leaders in technical fouls and "sees no reason why he should change." SJax would be a good fit for us if we were close to contending, but not right now. That said... Gerald Wallace? The guy who couldn't fit into Rick Adelman's offense in Sacramento? Interesting.. I wonder if that is any indication about which way the Rockets are leaning re: Adelman.
I watch their games and actively participate in thier forums. The fans cant wait to get rid of him, because he is trash.
