This has been my wish for the longest time. Imagine this lineup for Portland: Aldridge, Wallace, Roy (til he kills his knees), Brooks, W. Mathews....pretty damn good. And Batum would be the young asset with true upside that we crave. Maybe we add Battier to the deal also....

Good god, I hope by tonight Scola, Martin and Brooks are wearing different uniforms and we have multiple 1st rd pick in 2011 and 2012. Morey has backed himself into a corner and this is the only way out. And please Al Jefferson, Camby or Dalembert do not make us better.
We went for it all that year with a lineup of Yao, TMAC, Artest, Scola, Brooks....can you blame them?
Al is a force offensivly but plays no defense and is an average shot blocker at best. Nene could at least play some good defense while putting nice numbers, just look at the Jazz defensive stats with Al in the lineup.
Sources say Gerald Wallace headed to portland. There's been some chatter Gerald Wallace may get dealt by Thursday's deadline, as ESPN's Chad Ford reported the Bobcats have "aggressively courted the Mavericks, Rockets, Clippers, Pacers and Cavs." There's also been talk of the Blazers. As Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports tweeted earlier Wednesday: "Portland is pushing hard and getting closer to completing a deal with Charlotte for Wallace, a league source tells Y! Sports." And now, according to Dwight James, Wallace is heading to Portland. "Just got off the phone with an NBA source who says his team believes the Wallace-to-Portland deal is 'done,'" James tweeted Wednesday afternoon. With Nicolas Batum already in at small forward for the Blazers -- an asset the Blazers were reluctant to part with when Denver tried to include him in a Carmelo Anthony deal -- it's not immediately clear what Wallace's role with the team would be.
Al Jefferson has a major hole in his game. Lousy defense. He looks good at a glance, but his defense sucks.
Really? He averages 2 blks a game, but then again, I haven't seem him enough to know....I just remember him beasting on us recently, had monster 20 / 20 efforts etc...
what the heck is going on...we are not making any moves... so many names moving and we cant close any of them... if you think we are going to rebuild in this draft or free agency you have another thing coming.
