I understand and I'd drop Dorsey too. But as Dudewah said no chance since its a cap space issue. I just hope if this goes down there's another move for the backup 5 still.
I hope K-Pap won't be traded. I don't mind Brewer, but his presence would reduce K- Pap's role greatly.
I'm trying to recall back to last year though. Wasn't Ronnie Brewer a guaranteed contract that we cut? I think the circumstances are pretty different between this situation and that one though.
Kind of a question and it's an unlikely situation but: If we got brewer, there's a chance he gets traded with a package. We know the TWolves want to tank. Hard. So let's say they trade us Rubio, Brewer and either Dieng or Turiaf (less likely to be Dieng because he's young) and we send the NO pick, a future first rounder, some second rounders and either DMo or Capela and Nick Johnson and Daniels. If we got Rubio, what are the chances Llull comes over here? They're great friends. It would raise the chances of Him coming here. Just think of this depth chart: Rubio/Beverly/Canaan Harden/Llull/Terry Ariza/Brewer/Garcia Jones/Papa/DMo or Capela Howard/Dieng or Turiaf/Dorsey I think our backups would be pretty amazing.
would seriously doubt it. they'd save him for a bigger move. If I know Morey, this is about second rounders.
Kostas needs too much work on his offense. I know Brewer can't shoot, but trading for him makes sense. However, I can't see Morey giving up a 1st for him especially with that player option next year.
I appreciate the graph, but it would be better to see actual numbers for me. I'm looking at his career stats right now. 29.4% career 3 point shooting with no trend of improvement. Haven't read the whole thread, but I guess the idea is to have him only shoot corner threes here. I don't know if that's realistic. Wouldn't it have been tried before?
I saw someone on Twitter say a three team deal between us, Wolves and Clippers. Wolves get whatever filler Clippers get Brewer Rockets get Clippers Of course, it's twitter but that would be interesting. Still want a big man though.
They're allegedly trying to clear a roster spot to call a PG up from the d-league. Your prerogative to disbelieve the sources, though.
Yeah. I guess I'm having a hard time seeing the value in Dorsey's contract. It's not expiring and he sucks, so why would anybody take it on? What am I missing?
This is just conjecture. But I'd assume Les doesn't like paying unnecessary salary when he can avoid it.
