Chris Paul CANNOT play 25 minutes a game anymore at the level we need. You guys that are so keen on having him mentor Reed...Yeah, that would be cool. But, we would still need another guard to actually do everything we need on the floor. (D, shooting, finishing, ball handling)
Yeah, I would definitely be happy with last yr's version. It just seems like he's finally fallen off a cliff.
They aren't worried about reality because they don't live in it. The rockets have clear issues that need to be addressed if they really want to be contenders.
You’re referencing a borderline, if not all star, or even superstar player. Guys who can pass at a high level, shoot the 3ball, play above average defense, have a good ball handle and can penetrate/ collapse the D are almost purely allstars and superstars. Attainable and affordable players will all have major flaws. Do you want Schroder? That’s about as good as cheap trade target can possibly get. It’s questionable if a guy like him is even an upgrade to Holiday or Reed.
No chemistry issues unless you don’t play hard enough to win. He’ll quite possibly be a Rocket by this time tomorrow night.
