Clippers would be a top 3 seed team if they could make this move IMO. Scoring isn't going to come from their front court with Jordan and Griffin. I like Griffin a lot, but he still has a ways to go on his low post skills.

If I'm the Clippers, I would be making a call personally to swing this deal.

Match up problems are the least of our worries. We are already a great offensive team even with our best offensive player slumping. The added defense that Bogut brings is far beyond anything the other 3 bring, specifically to this team.

Last year and the year before the Bucks were 2nd and 4th in defensive rating. This year, without Bogut, 22nd. Before that when Bogut missed most of the season, 15th.

If you nab Bogut without sacraficing much offense, you hopefully grab that huge increase in defensive effeciency. More importantly if it only costs you Dally, Lee and the NY pick, you aren't losing much offensively. Losing Lee hurts, but Dragic could be resigned to combo backup PG and SG.

It's a shame we're apparently no longer after Bogut.

Imagine the financial impact for Les of tapping into the Australian market!

Not anymore than what we have with Scola and Argentina?

    Good match!

Maybe this could possibly work, with some more tweaks here and there.

Houston gets: Andrew Bogut, Randy Foye

Bucks get: Courtney Lee, Samuel Dalembert, Jonny Flynn/Hasheem Thabeet(expiring filler), Ryan Gomes and NY 2012 pick.

    Clippers get: Stephen Jackson

    Yes to Bogut

Why do we have to give up the New York pick? Why not a future 1st round pick. I like Bogut and he would be EXCELLENT on our team. I think his value has taken some significant hits these past years and he label injury prone though not truly his fault. I like the Clippers three way deal. Makes sense. I think that would put them in the Western Conference Finals against OKC.

Nah - there's twice as many people in Argentina than Australia.

1/2 the population base and a minority sport  Gotta be a good cash cow!

The more I think about this, the more it just makes too much sense. You're buying a very high quality center for expirings. Sure there's a risk, but the upside is too high to pass up.

It seems to me that the Dally+Lee+pick is nowhere near enough to get Bogut. I think it would take a Martin for Sjacks swap as well (Keep Lee trade Martin). I think Martin is valued much more than Lee (except on clutchfans where everyone thinks Lee is better than Martin). The Dally+Lee+pick could be totally fabricated. I love T. Harris and would exchange a quality player for him (Cbud, MM, etc).

    Bogut+Sjacks+Harris for Martin+Dally+Ppat?

IMHO, Ppat needs to be traded as he is not starter material (or hasn't shown that ability).

Fair deal. I would do that even without Harris.

Yeah people act like he's had 4 foot surgeries.

He's the tall white Kevin Martin when it comes to injuries.

I REALLY hope this is just a smokescreen, and DM's just playing hardball with the Bucks mgt. Dally+Lee+Patterson+Marcus Morris...I'd be willing to pull the trigger on that deal if it means we keep kmart, the pick and don't get Sjax's contract.

With those 4 guys Milwaukee can have a nice young core around Jennings, and getting all those healthy bodies will make them playoff worthy, enough to bump off NYC. It'll also kill our team this year, ensuring we miss the playoffs and get our lottery pick back.

It'll be hitting 3 birds with one stone, this makes so much sense for both teams.

No. He's refering to his freak injuries. None of his injuries have been chronic. All freak injuries. He is nothing like Kevin Martin as a player. He is a bruiser of a center. Martin is a wimpy shooter/slasher/scorer.

I like the Bogut/Jackson deal, mostly for Captain Jack though.

I'm biased, as he is my favorite player not on the Rockets.

Put him in with a positive coach like McHale and he'll thrive, much like he did in Golden State until the team developed a bunch of egos.

He's very, very underrated as a passer and defender. He would give us more more at this point than Kevin Martin and he's naturally tough.

I don't know enough about Bogut other than his rebounding and injuries.

I hate the idea of giving Kmart up, but Jack would be fair value..
