Accurate assesment. Shot those 3's and attack the basket. Be the 3rd scorer the Rockets thought they were getting.

If Lawson keeps this tentative, scared play up I don't want to keep him! He needs to show every game now what he's made of. I truly think his confidence is all shot now that he's fully sober all the time.

Ty Lawson, Marcus Thornton, and Jason Terry beg to differ.

If he was contributing offensively, no one would care about his defense but as of now, he is a zero offensively. A play here and there is not enough.

yeah he has to dominate every single minute of the 15-20 min he gets off the bench. it sure works that way in the league:rolleyes:

But he is not even average, he is terrible. Unfortunately He lost his aggressiveness after he stopped drinking. I don't want to trade him but he has to give more. He seems lethargic.

Ok, let's agree to disagree. I hope he gives more to this team. He is going to be important in the play offs or Jet is gonna get his minutes.

don't really see what more you are realistically expecting with the role he has on this team. he's not going to come in and be a dominant scorer, never has been. his primary job is to be a ball handler/playmaker in a limited 20 min role. don't think people really take into account the kind of adjustment this guy has to make from what he's used to his entire career as a pro player.

don't think he's played bad at all as of late. if you know what you're watching and understand who he is as a player then its not that hard. You say its excuses but in reality its the truth

While Lawson might not have had a good game against the Pelicans, in the recent games before New Orleans, including one start, he's played very well. I think the light bulb has finally gone off in his head and that we will begin to see more consistent play from Ty. Some of us have noticed. I'm surprised that so many haven't. Of course, I'm surprised at how much Harden is still being slammed here after a series of superb games. Go figure. It's just how this board is. Schizophrenic.

Ty has stepped up his play. Where the hell have you been the past week or so?

He's played better lately and hopefully while he continues a Rocket let's hope this all stays true (and questions of "is he resigned to stay here and play well or is he hoping other teams want him in a trade the Rockets like, so he can show off for a new contract?" become moot).
