Yes and JB can become the coach if it all works. Big opportunity for him. I hope they focus hard on defense.

Damn, we're really keen on keeping the boyband together: Lawson, Terry, Brewer, Josh & Harrell.

This is an example of a rumor that means absolutely nothing. Probably came from Morey. But it's no indicator whether or not we're going to keep Lawson. It's all about maximizing return on Lawson. This is almost an habitual thing that happens when Morey gets ready to move a guy. You hear trade chatter and rumors. It goes on for quite some time. Deal looks imminent. Then the pull-back and riding for a little while to see if something better materializes. Morey has bought some time with the Smoove move. He can afford to sit and see how the team gels with Smoove now for a few games. Perhaps Smoove becomes such a defensive difference-maker that we can afford to have Lawson and his subpar defense on the floor together with Harden. And perhaps we get Lawson on a roll here and increase his value to other teams needing a point (MIL, UTA, etc.) and we get a better return on him. Or perhaps.....just perhaps...with MIL in town tonight, this is just the thing that tips them into folding in one more small asset that makes Morey do the deal for Lawson.........or agrees to it verbally....announces it....and then takes a few days to execute it in hopes some of his other trade talks mature into a deal that can be merged with this one for a greater aggregate return.

But...this is a typical thing that happens in trade rumors and it doesn't mean anything. We could wind up keeping him. Or if the right deal comes along we could very well move him. My experience tells me we are still most likely to deal Lawson.

Dead serious. Defense with Dwight Smith and Ariza is already solid... Harden and Lawson have to work harder but if JB still starts Bev then there you go defense just upgraded. Capela is young still developing.

or, perhaps it went SO well that the Rockets decided that he can actually help them.

I'm still not sure about his defense playing with Harden, but he has been playing much better as of late and it will be very interesting to see how he meshes with Smoove coming back.

I dont believe this one bit. If a trade partner emerges, he will be traded. The skill is there not necessarily the fit in the offense.

I think Lawson will play even more and better with Smith on the court

Start him and bring Harden off the bench! ;)

Somehow...someway....he need to get involved enough to where he is producing like he used to and making a meaningful impact.

Harden and Lawson will never be a good defensive lineup. That's why you can't keep Lawson out on the floor for long periods of time and why in tight games he's on the bench in the 4th quarter. He's a defensive sieve and next to Harden it's a nightmare.

A little bit sigh of relief even though I don't trust this convenient leak at all.

cyber said he was showcased. Amick said chatter with Bucks= > confirmation that Cyber was correct.

Jason Kidd isn't even headed back to the Bucks until sometime next week. If there were legitimate interest, maybe something wouldn't happen until the head (non-interim) coach is with the team.

Then again, maybe Bucks management shrugged and said, "Let's not shake it up now."

    Who t.f. knows.

We shouldn't trade Lawson. This guy has consistently been a 16/7 guy. He's not the best shooter but he takes *great* care of the ball.

Honestly, it's on the coach and on Harden. He needs to make sacrifices to make this work. If ****ing Butler and Rose can work in Chicago and Bledsoe/Knight (prior to injury) in Phoenix then there's no reason for these guys to have such issues.

let's pray together. Kidd is the gm not just the coach. The bucks owners pay attention to the fans what they say about the trades , the son of the owner even posts himself, let's hope that the complete disgust and rejection in the second biggest bucks fansite that I caused by posting cyberx rumour had a little even a little effect in stoping this travesty. Who am I kidding....=/
