I mean I'm sure the Rockets would love to get him. They had interest in him on Draft Day but his stock rose too high, and we knew they were scouting him for awhile. But I see no reason Milwaukee would deal him. The Bucks are the second-worst team in the league and shouldn't be in a hurry to win now. If I'm them, this is the one guy I keep. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nb...is-antetokounmpo-milwaukee-bucks-greek-freak/
That would be so cool. He's going to be a superstar <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Xb3KLrl_VOI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/y0aPXO2UwLY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
The Greek are a deceptive people. Also hairy and smelly. We don't need their kind around to spoil a Chandler Parsons-centered handsome and wholesome team with generally gorgeous hair. If we are to have foreigners, we should have mostly Argenitinians (a hard-working and professional breed, as evidenced by Scola and Delfino). Of the Eastern Mediterranian types, the Croatians and Slovenians are far superior than the rest. The Turks are OK, but can be emotional when minutes are not available. The Israelite Casspi has grown on me but the sample size for his country is still small. The Greek are by far the worst, not only for Eastern Mediterranian, but possibly the entire world.
You only say that because of Dragic. But what about Sasha Vujabitch? Lithuanians have in my mind the best pedigree. It's obvious based on their height and facial structure that they are descended directly from the Roman gladiators.
I doubt we'd do that deal. Neal is dealing with chronic plantar fasciitis these days and is scoring less efficiently than he has his whole career.
The Lithuanian we have is large and quick enough. But likely would not have lasted long in the Coliseum given his tendency to fall down at the slightest touch. As for Sasha, he is not even willing to play for the Slovenian national team. He does not count.
I think the Bucks owner has a history of making win now moves. Would Lin & Asik make the Bucks a playoff team in the East? Herb Kohl did draft Yi to help sell more of his beer in China but found out that 1) Yi was a NBA bust 2) Wasn't the marketing monster Yao was.
http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1288975 Apparently Bucks fans are expecting the worst.
Remember that Herb Kohl is an old dude who wants to make moves to win now. If we can somehow get Giannas, I'd be ecstatic.
it all depends on the mentality of the owner/GM if they hate losing and want to get better short term for whatever dumb reason, maybe they do it it would be funny if we got him, Morey would assign him immediately to the D-League
ha ha ha maybe the bucks are in a win now mode (why on earth?), and giannis gets too sloppy with the hummus for the buck's liking.. the only question that remains is if morey can get Milwaukee to throw in an unprotected 2014 first round draft pick? Asik for Giannis + Unprotected 2014 1st round draft pick Seems very fair.
