MILWAUKEE – With Jalen Green set to return to the Rockets’ lineup on Thursday in Indianapolis, the other starter in the Rockets backcourt, Kevin Porter Jr., could soon follow. Porter said he is not close enough to target a game for his return but has been progressing enough in his rehab from a bruised left thigh to step up his workouts, including the three-on-three session he went through in Chicago on Tuesday. “We're getting there,” Porter said. “It has been a work in progress but we've just been making progress each and every day. I'm feeling good. We're taking steps forward. “It's always hard waiting. Honestly, when it first happens, I feel like it's the worst because (the rehab) is a long ball game but almost being back is a boost of confidence and (to) your self-esteem about everything every day, everything you do daily.” Porter was initially hurt against the Warriors Nov. 7 and was hit in the same spot in Memphis Nov. 15. He said he reaggravated the injury in other games. He left in the first half of games Dec. 1 and Dec. 3, leading to the decision to sit out. “It just as a workout goes, it gets aggravated and it locks up on me,” Porter said. “So, that's what we've been working on, just … being able to finish the full game. “We’re not aiming (for any particular game.) We’re just taking it day-by-day, letting my body react to all the workouts and take it from there.”
I want to apologize to everybody. I think I've been a little harsh calling every player that gets a boo-boo injury-prone. I mean I understand as a woman whatever I am I completely understand. Like, when I break a nail, I don't want to ride my bicycle because I'm so embarrassed and I don't want to see anybody look at me with a broken nail so I literally avoid my bicycle for about a week until it grows out So I completely feel for Jalen green I know what he's going through he probably had a bad haircut or they put the wrong highlights in his hair and that's why he's been sitting around the last 4 weeks not playing until his hair grows out
Man Kevin Porters hip remind me of when Francis when he had Meniere's disease. No matter what we did or how long he took off we could not fix it and that was right after we gave him a Max contract. And Kevin is due for a extension this summer man oh man if we Max him out it's going to be a huge mistake . I don't like it when he said it locks up on him just like a workout. It's going to be chronic. We are going to really be regretting extending him Imo
