The hike in ticket prices must mean that Dwight really is coming to Houston.

That's funny because if Dwight wasn't in the potential picture, no way would a thread about price increase be 5 stars.:p

in section 415 it was $567 last year but its $670 now but already paid mine off and now paying for Tundra parking which is $667 for entire season but break em in to 4 payments at $165 a month. so will be done by September so i do not have to pay for anything but food and drinks

    Those teams are:
    A. Not in competition with a popular NFL team.
    B. In larger cities, with a high % of wealthy people.
    C. Have a long history of multi-generation, family season ticket holders.

The point: Empty seats don't purchase souvenirs, popcorn, soda, hot dogs, etc. Even if a rich corporation is paying for the seat, it takes away from other team revenue within the arena. Some venues rely on those $8 hot dog, concession booth profits to stay afloat.

But you can watch them live at the Toyota Center for 4% higher prices than last year.

I've never understood why people spend decent money on upper level seats. I'd rather go to 5 games a year with great seats than 10 games with bad seats.

To each his own. High def and the comfort of your living room not to mention free of charge is always a great option if you can't get good seats at the game.

I disagree, the upper level seats offer a great value thanks to the giant screen and you can still have a great view depending on where you sit. I've sat in club level, and upper sidelines and i honestly don't prefer one over the other.I still had a blast in both seats.

However I do share you notion of not opting for season tickets though. (Largely because i can't afford it) For someone with a student income going to select games every year is a blast!

But i have to admit after i secure a good job I'm gonna get season tickets, i love this team too much not to.

Please get over yourself. There are really no ba seats at TC. You see everything and there is always more energy upstairs than downstairs. Beating the Lakers in TC is a great live experience in club level or upstairs an I did in both last season.

I think it's dumb to pay for parking in the garage but that's my cheapness since you can find $5 parking every game (even in a garage)(Tundra garage is $20).

My seats are great view (right above rockets tunnel) and I went to I think 33 games preseason, season and playoffs so it even out. It was disposable income...At $1335.00 (games and parking) is a bargain to me cause Im guaranteed all games and parking, but like you said its what you want to spend your disposable income on. I'm single w/ no kids so this is my kid lol

My seats are a great view too. So glad I purchased them before the price increase. I heard the prices were going up, but thought they would wait until after some announcement. I guessed wrong. Still, for the seats, better value than other teams like, Dallas.

I think parking in the Tundra is the most dumbest thing ever. I prefer parking on a curb, because it's free. And free is better than 15 or 20 bucks to park in the garage.

Also, I'm not waiting behind some idiot on their phone texting, and tweeting, and instagraming and vining, and doing lines of coke off their dashboard. It's a b**** to get out of any garage.

When I park on the curb, I look at my rear view or over my shoulder, I see no cars, and I pull out, and i'm on my way.

glad I bought my season tickets before the increase. They might go up even more in the next few days. Be sure to enter your Houston area zip code to get the season tickets. If you split with someone, you can always buy extra tickets to games you need.
