anyways...duhon is not that much better than luther head, imo they r too similar it wud be a dumb trade, bonzi brings something else to the table, i really like him

After tonight, it seems to me that Bonzi is finally getting into good game shape. It would be stupid to do these trades now.

    sounds plausible but...

    1. Gooden would be their 3rd tweener at the PF position. I doubt adding Gooden alongside Kenny Thomas and Shareef is something that they would want to do. I'd think they rather keep Bibby than adding another PF even if it means shedding 5 mil off the cap. I'd think they would ask for Donyell Marshall (he actually has some perimeter game that differentiates him from KT, SAR, and Gooden) but that's just me.

    2. Damon Jones sucks. Period. I rather go into battle with Rafer Alston.

Basically, I'm not interested in any trade unless it does one of two things:

    1. Brings us a quality NBA worthy point guard. As crazy as Rafer sometimes makes me, I cringe every time I think about the possibility of him being seriously injured.

    2. Or if the trade is so freakishly and unrealistically lopsided in our favor that it would have us all dancing in the streets - like Juwan Howard for Elton Brand or something equally ridiculous.

This is the only option I'm remotely enthused about, because there are five players on Cleveland I sure wouldn't mind having (that aren't Big Z or Lebron, obviously): Marshall, Gooden, Varejao, Damon Jones, and Daniel Gibson.

Problem is I'm not so sure we'd get any of those guys just for being a third team...

How in the wolrd would he be a good fit? We already have Yao and two other centers on the roster. Magloire is far too slow to play PF.

jvg was pissed that bonzi wasn't in shape. sweetney is freaking fat. davis is what, 60 years old now? i'm sick and tired of having old guys on our team.

"Bulls Trying to Pry Bonzi Wells From the Rockets"

Kings forward Shareef Abdur-Rahim is the most prominently mentioned possibility in the latter scenario, though a late rumor Wednesday had the Bulls trying to pry Bonzi Wells from the Rockets.
Bulls have offered us Mike Sweetney's expiring contract for Bonzi, obviously not enough value but I would do it if they threw in their or the Knicks 1st round pick (Its going to be a strong draft this year) Also, other stuff Im hearing:
Another option was believed to be a swap of Wells and a second player to Detroit for Dale Davis and Flip Murray, though Pistons president Joe Dumars was first trying to find a taker for Nazr Mohammed before he committed to a Davis trade.

Also, Rockets are the number one candidate for Mike James

This is going to be fun! :D

On offense, Bonzi fits the Bulls better than us. They have serious assets to give us if they want him bad enough.

Getting the Knicks pick seems unlikely, don't you think? I don't even think it is top 3 protected.

They can have him for Hinrich!! I'd even throw in our 1st rounder in that deal. :D

I don't see any way they'd give us Hinrich or #1 picks, but I'd rather have Duhon. That would be the perfect trade for us, IMHO. He has a high basketball IQ, consummate pro, can play 1 or 2, and would fit this team well.

No thanks. We already have Hayes.

Bonzi fills a hole in the roster, while Sweetney would just ride the pine.
