WhiteMagic, yes sorry, forgot about ellis. But even then u are saying that they are at least the same, and maybe better with woods in the lineup and KG getting another year older. Meanwhile u cant judge whether the Rockets got better or not like Freak said. Minus Dream and SA, plus Rice and EG. It will take them a while to get their chemistry straight. Only time will tell.... but i dont know about overtaking portland though. Everyone knows portland has the talent to beat the Lakers, but they got chemistry issues, and other issues. Last year they made the playoffs with just pure talent. But once they got there they didnt know what to do. but u cant say they are done. Just 2 years ago they were up by 10 in the 4th quarter in game 7 against the Lakers.....so u know the chemistry can come together for them. i think portland is a team that will get in the playoffs just with the talent, and if they play together, they will again be a contender...........
Personally, I'm glad that the Rockets didn't get Loren Woods. I know alot of people may disagree with me, but the last thing we need is another injury-prone big man. We have enough of those already. It's funny how he went from a sure lottery selection to the #46th pick. That tells you there were alot of people who was afraid of his back. I just think he's too fragile. If the Wolves are counting on him to be their center for this year, then it's looking better and better for us to surpass them in the west.
