Psst. You can fix the misspelling in the title as contributing member. See the Thread Tools menu in the top right of your opening post.
i think this has to do with the way this whole contract was negotiated not Dmo back issue. The rockets cleared him to play after Detroit void trade and have stated previously they had no issue with his back. Now, another thing is if he injured his back over summer and somehow theres an issue now
The only thing that matters is a bucket. This mentality is why players today don't use the hook shots or anymore because it is not as sexy. Being taller or explosive is easy because you are born with it. Having to use skills to to make a bucket is a lot more impressive. End of the day, it is still 2 pts.
Never said otherwise. What I said is if he was explosive or taller, that could have elevate his post game to elite status. He wasn't however.
I'd say Scola had great speed, technique, and intelligence in the post. By your own metric, Scola would be considered an elite post player.
This is an important clutchfans announcement. No other news will be reported until the DMO situation is resolved. That is all.
To say "Scola had great speed" would be an accusation that he sold amphetamines on the side, because I've seen glaciers retreat faster than a Scola fast break.
Woah let me clarify... I thought we were talking about quickness in post, which Scola displayed time and again with those spin moves and elusive scoops. Outside of that, he had about as much speed as he had hops (and I ain't talking about IPA).
