Page 3 or 4! Whoop-de-do! Who's counting!?! This soap opera needs to be on TV. 50 years from now, it'll still be going strong. Yes, I want DMo back. But the legality of not showing for a physical, tearing up the original offer sheet & then signing a new contract is gonna have ramifications no one wants. Much like when we signed Rick Berry, I fear. You can rest assured that there'll be a DMo clause in the next CBA.
If he was 2-3" taller or actually explosive, I would agree with you. Elite post moves don't make your post game elite.
Maybe, one day, after all this Lawyers orgy will be done and over... D-mo will get a rule named after him. Finally he will be with the level of the great Larry Bird. "The D-mo rights". That sound smooth
He scored at will in every competitive league and world competition he ever took part in. His post game was elite. Your standards are too high.
Well we haven't seen that from him in almost 2 years now. Rockets are good either way. For me D-Mo has become a nice to have player, not a need to have. Harrell and Capela have showed me enough to not worry about this team. Dekker has been pretty good too with minutes at the 4. Those guys will continue to improve throughout the season.
I do feel bad for him and especially his back situation and were you mistake free at the ripe old age of 26?
Team keeps on winning while DMo situation continues. Perhaps Morey is superstitious and will keep DMo in this loop until season's end?
I disagree. Having group up watching all time great bigs play the game in the golden era of big men, I actually have seen what "elite" is, hence my standards are just right. Elite means you can consistently dominate the game in that area of skill. Scola could never do that in the NBA due to being physically mediocre by NBA seasons. Why do you think he had to rely on his smarts and techniques. To have an elite post game, you have to be at least great in three of the following: power, speed, technique, height, intelligence, and dominance.
He might be a star some day? He was drafted 5 years ago, he has played in the NBA for 4 seasons and is 26 years old..... Also, 26 years old IS the prime of an NBA players career; Harden is 27, Westbrook is 28, Cousins is 26, DeRozen 27...... If he isn't a star yet, he never will be.
