There could be huge ramifications and precedence though, if the league is involved this is something more than a tiny thing. DD
League office is probably only involved if someone filed a complaint. Or possibly they see this scenario as a bad precedent and want to clean it up.
Morey probably ignored the fact that the Nets might actually want DMO when he tore up the offer sheet. uh oh.
You really got to feel for poor DMO in having to go through all this. He's a hard worker who wants to play and get payed like most everyone else, I hope there is a positive ending to all this for his sake.
Feel BAD for DMO? He hired an incompetent agent and continues to stand with him. I don't feel bad for DMO in the least.
The Nets are idiots to even consider paying DMo 37 million. Why are teams this effing stupid to overpay "role players".
Well when the holdup was nonsense by BJ, I felt that way, but now it's the Rockets FO, so for me that's different. Still I don't see how DMo hasn't fired BJ yet, but the current problem isn't due to BJ
That's fair, and neither do I really, I just know that DMo showed up and the Rockets sent him home this time. Given how much of an idiot BJ has been thus far, maybe it is his fault somehow.
Rockets broke the CBA restricted FA rule. Hey cant match then void the contract just to create a new one. Nets have right to take the issue to the league
He is not just a role player, very talented he is and unique, might be a star one day. 7 feet, 3pt shooting skilled passing high iq high character team player. Young, not in his prime yet. ps yeah i forgot elite post game and solid defense in stretches showed great rim protection, capable of running the fastbreak
LOL a star? That's hilarious. Also, D-Mo does NOT have an elite post game. He had an elite hook shot and decent turn around before he went down, but that was about it. Scola's post up game was much closer to elite and even he can't be considered as elite. D-Mo projects to be a good role player and maybe a 3rd or 4th option if he can improve where he left off before his injuries.
