    @daywalker02

Btw, this isn't personal or anything like that man. This is just a discussion forum and stuff and dude wasn't like trying to go that far with it. Thanks for the discussions and I will see you next time. But, I urge you to lay off that Klay Thompson ****, man. It's not a good high, you should really try the James Harden ****, it will blow your mind.

I am just an entertainer I hope like you.

I seen Jordan, I seen Hakeem, I seen Stockton and Malone, I seen Yao, I seen Nash, KB and Stats....and seen Duncan, Admiral, TP and Gino.

the closest Harden came to, is Nash but Nash got no rings ........as far as I recollect just double MVP.

That's very good but unfortunately not stuff of the legends, man.

He got the next 2 years of playoffs to win me over, man. I am open to cheer for him.

    It's all for the team.

And as for Klay, he aint down with the Chinese Kitties and Kardashians of this world.

I just don't think this is about the physical anymore. I think it's about the contract. It seems strange to me that the Rockets could trash the Nets offer and create a new one. It shouldn't be allowed and I'm assuming it isn't. I really don't like how the Rockets do this to their own free agents especially the RFA.

This is what I don't get - Dmo and his agent insisted on changes to the contract - that's why it got trashed. I am sure the league isn't happy with any of this. But let's be clear, it was Dmo and BJ who were not happy with the Rockets matching the Nets offer.

I understand that but it starts with how they handled the negotiations to begin with. Why not make your best offer and go from there? Why must the Rockets treat every Rocket FA like this? They already were willing to pay $7m per season for one year. BJ probably makes a counteroffer. Then the Rockets make a different offer. Why can't they just negotiate this in a more respectful manner? If I'm a player I would find this very insulting and would not want to play for the Rockets.

Both sides are dirty here. Neither negotiated in good faith.

If the contract (the one DMO and the Rockets worked out) is what the league has issues with, one would think this would have taken 5 minutes to rectify. Just void it. The league shouldnt be concerned with how much Bj and DMO liked it.

    Dirty, dirty, dirty

    Everything is dirty

But according to Mr. Motieujunas everything should have been finalized by Monday.

I agree with you and I said all along that the right thing was to match that offer from the Nets or let him walk. This small letters loop wholes to find in the contract to avoid payments is not good for the team reputation as a negotiator.
At the moment we're pretty much stuck and (assuming the physicals went well) we're missing a player that could have really contribute to our team. All that just to save a few bucks or for Morey to look like a badass business man (yes yes, a few millions, look at how much other contenders are spending).
That whole thing didn't go well, but we did have some good times here in Clutchfans so not all bad :)

This makes 0 sense. The Rockets have not done anything disrespectful. We gave D-Mo a QO, he didn't want it and didn't sign it. We offered him a contract of what we thought he was worth. He didn't like it, fine. We let him find a contract that HE wanted and it took him a quarter of the season to do so. When he did, we matched what we were required to do, which is standard practice of what ANY teams would do. We treated him fairly and with respect the entire time.
