Hard to believe you found such a fresh take! Amazing nobody has mentioned that once in the two dozen DMo threads.
Nice. I'm in again Biatches! Although this is just rehashed news from the other thread. No popcorns for this one
You know this is one point the media didn't really touch on at all. A RFA not showing up for a physical after his original team matched? Tons of articles. A matched RFA contract voided and then signed said player to new contract? Where are the articles mentioning the historical precedent or legality of this? Why don't all teams just match all RFAs and then sign friendlier contract after the fact? Does not showing up for a physical somehow allow for contract re-structuring?
I'd hate to keep Dmo if he's not healthy only to continue the "Dmos back is f****d up" Saga. Let's just let it die.
Sigh. This is the strangest RFA transaction I have seen. Every possible way to go wrong, it went wrong. I just want to wish the best luck to DMO. Both parties shall move on now.
How many contracts can one man sign that he doesn't have to honor? Is it more than 2? I have no idea what is going on here. Is BJ being a dick again? Signed a contract, didn't report to physical. We tore up that contract and made a new one that was apparently fine by DMo. Signed that one but still won't report.
Based on recent history, BJ told DMo to hold out for a better deal, then DMo failed the physical. Now BJ is trying to flex his "rights" on the league again to go back to the Nets.
It would be hard to incorporate DMo other than trash time at this point. He wouldn't even get minutes over Harrell or Nene much less as a backup 4 over Dekker.
