There will always be a reason. It's not like they chose someone over someone. They would have kept Dalembert and add Hayes for cheap.

Money has to go somewhere. Hayes is the better veteran leader but with that being said Dalembert does not suck or bring less to the table in terms of production in number, he just happens to be expensive.

I think if he played just 28-30 minutes for us he could average a double-double with 2 blocks, 10-10-2.

If we can get him for the right price he will provide a current need while becoming another asset in a potential trade package. Centers are scarce.

And you people crying tank should get past that now. It is never going to happen on Les' watch.

We are talking about veteran presence here. And it could be that they view Chuck as a 4.
I am waiting for further medical exam.

The Kings are not a rival, probably the Mavs are.

Is this an all time low for the Rockets at center? I think even Kato was better than this. Most of us were "sold" on big Calvin at one time or another ~ if and only if we were to be truely honest with with ourselfs. The P.R. was so different / good back then. They feed us so many $hit sandwhiches and I thougt most of them had the best taste and was the last piece to a championship. Even the slogan was about believing. At least they are not try to make Dalembert more than he is. Please. please don't overpay this guy.

Is it just me or does anyone else get a Kelvin Cato-like vibe from Dalembert?

I'm not nits about the move, but to say he isn't better than Kelvin Cato is a stretch. Dalembert can help this team.
