No he's right we have the greatest gm in history. Morey would of took this team to championship status in no time. I mean lets look at some big time free agents who recently signed with other teams.

Lebron would of rather played with gasol and nene then wade and bosh.

CP3 would of demanded to be traded to the rockets instead of playing with griffin,

Derron williams he would of been pumped out of his mind to come here rather then hooking up with dwight howard.

How delusional are people superstars want to play with other superstars and even with gasol and nene the rockets still would of had no superstars

Well the thing that sucks is now we'll never know. I still deep down think that Morey has something up his sleeve. He's too smart of a guy. If all else fails maybe one of our young guys turns into a star.

    Twill anyone? ;)

I just want a great product to watch, if the rockets win 50 % of their games at least we would be happy half of the time.

BTW thats Les and Marys strategy

Maybe your right OR maybe one of them might have said yes to Morey and bag full of money...point is we don't know. As of right now, we know they'll say no and if Morey/Les insist on trying to do the impossible, i'd rather go to this fight with a loaded gun instead of a plastic knife.

He's too smart of a guy lol. Einstein was smart doesn't mean he would of been a good gm.

How do you know all this? Do you have some kind of crystal ball that I don't? Because if you do please let me borrow it. The fact of the matter is WE DON'T KNOW what these players want. Hell Dwight Howard requested a trade to the Nets but then backed off a couple of days later. It's too hard to know what these players what. Sure superstars wanna play with other superstars but when is the last time you've heard of a superstar volunteering to come to Houston?

No crystal ball needed. I have done some morey like statistical analysis and statistics show that Houston is not a prime destination for superstar players. Statistics also show that superstars want to play with other superstars.

My statistics also show that the rockets would of been going nowhere fast if the trade went through

Honestly, all of this pairing for a superstar is crap. This whole Miami thing just made it seem like it's always been that way. Teams have built a solid roster over the years with some players developing into stars while slowly piecing them with other stars through trades or Money! Yes, at the end of the day these fools just want to get paid.

You are right. There are some changes needed, but not to the team. The outlook of the team needs to change from an offensive team to a defensive one. We have all the scoring we need. This is where i think the new coaching staff is aiming for. We all were saying during last season that this team only needs to play better defense and get more rim protection, more rebounding. We have that now.
I am not saying that the Gasol trade wouldn't have made us better, just not by much. We would have given up too many players to make that much of a difference.

I actually would have to agree with this. It's all about the Benjamins.

Yes that is true but my statistical Morey approved analysis shows that other teams will always have money too. Main problem is that with all of the sign and trades the major superstars can force their way on to the team of their choice and the rockets will never be on one these superstars lists

Sometimes you have to take a few steps backwards to start heading on the right path. We have to give quality to receive back quality. Scola and Martin is a big loss, I agree. But when you have chance to land a high impact, game changer 7 footer, you take it. I'm thinking Morey believed he could land another Scola, Martin type players after Gasol.

Gasol and Nene for Scola, Martin and Dragic was fine, but when they started talking about Lowry and Patterson as well. Too much.

"Sources" said Nene wanted out of Denver. He had top targets of Houston, Jersey, and NY in mind. Denver signed him to 67mil deal and he was cheesing all over camera, "proudly" a Denver Nugget.

My point goes with all players, not just superstars. If a young Dwight Howard gets offered 100mil/xyears in NJ and Houston offers 108mil/xyears. My money says he goes to Htown. It ain't no conspiracy here.

    Money talks, BS walks.

    I am calculating these statistics.

BTW why don't we just hire Hollinger as the GM he has even more stats then morey.

The system doesn't work like that, their are max deals we won't be able to just out bid teams for the true elite players. The Cp3, D Rose and dwight howard players demand max deals
