Don't blame DD. He, like myself, believes that this team is better than everyone thinks. Sometimes it is hard to keep your stance when you are constantly bombarded by comments from superstar blinded nonbelievers.:)

Gasol and Nene are hardly superstars.

Right, a 31 year old Gasol was surely the one to take us to the promise land...

A 31 year old Gasol was surely the one to bring us Nene.

Thus, instantly a top 6 team in the league.

Yes he would of took us to the promise land. When he was in memphis they almost won it all every year and Nene and Gasol would of been the best 4, 5 combo in history.

Also Morey who is the best gm in the nba would of landed us a superstar wing player. If it wasn't for stern we would of won it all this year.

    Morey greatest gm ever.

It's absolutely right for a fan to believe in his or her team but, I've seen some of the biggest homers up in here. Saying stuff like "Lowry is our CP3", "Gasol not a big upgrade from Scola" "Why Nene when we got Jordan Hill"etc. I'm down with our players and have faith in the team but C'mon, Some people need to get real here.

What I'm trying to say Coach is some of us feel the team is good but it ain't good enough without some changes in the roster. Doesn't make me a non believer.

I think he was trying to point out the people trying to make it seem like Gasol is such an old fart compared to our young promising players.

    Btw..Scola is my favorite rocket.

Don't mean to sounds like a jerk but who cares? Love Scola but I want a banner and if Gasol would have got us a little bit closer, you make that trade off any day any time.

No but Morey's plan would have FINALLY gotten going. We have been stuck waiting for the first domino to drop and Gasol was that. Nene would have followed and then we would have been one superstar away from being a true contender.

That's the thing a lot of people weren't getting about the trade, if you are Paul or Williams who would you rather play with Martin and Scola or Gasol and Nene??? I think the answer is pretty obvious even if a lot of people don't like what it'll be.

Pure speculation. That's what you WANTED to happen. What if Nene wouldn't have signed with us? Then we're stuck with Gasol and a bunch of assets.

As opposed to just stuck with a bunch of assets, NO GASOL and back at square one.

I wouldn't have liked the deal as much without Nene but "being stuck" with Gasol would have been a nice problem to have along with being at least one step closer rather than STILL stuck in neutral.

get dalembert = possibly win 2-3 more games, less playing time to youth, use unnecessary cap space.

    no thanks.
