the best hd card for linux would be the pchdtv HD5500. what card were you trying to get going before?
the problem is I cant capture FSNHD with that card. Using TW requires that you use the cable box(cable card in my big tv) to view the upper HD channels where FSNHD is. I can record OTA HD with it, but that doesnt help for Rockets games since FSN doesnt do OTA HD and I have as yet been unable to pickup KNWS's supposed HD channel (supposedly KNWS has a OTA HD, but I havent been able to tune it in)
It IS showing on FSNHD for those that have the HD package and get that channel....Im looking at Kevin Eschenfelders ugly mug in crystal clarity as I type
how are you getting that? on an OTA tuner? or hooked to a cable? Im curious since last time I checked their feed wasnt listed.
r2k, what about recording through the firewire port? assuming you have a firewire port on your comp. It "should" be active on the cable box as it's required by law. it is on my Time Warner Moto hd dvr. It should work as long as there is not encryption on it. you'd need some sort of sata array to handle the hd .ts stream.
I have my cable hooked to the back of the tv (instead of the HD antenna) and ran the digital search on my internal digital tuner.
Why the hell do they not have it listed? They seemingly due it at random as is, and now they're not even going to advertise it on the program guide? I guess we just have to check every game, whether its listed or not.
i dont think dish has fsnhd i was able to watch the game since i have league pass in hd on their hdppv channel
Was the game on HD? If it was that sucks, because I watched the non hd tonite. I never check anymore becasue the game is never on FSN HD. 302 for Time warner.
The schedule is here: http://msn.foxsports.com/name/HD#FSSouthwest The next HD game is Feb. 23 vs the Hawks
