Plus, those quarter-by-quarter scores don't add up to 75. The Turkish official site shows the same error. Yes he is but he is not ready yet. We will see him playing more minutes in upcoming games i think. It wasn't a great game for Omer because he didn't play too many minutes. Interesting note is, his only fg was a mid range and it wasn't a forced shot. Also i'm not sure if todays game will be on TV or ntvspor.net.
Casspi had 24 points today in a loss against Poland (without Gortat, with the 'great' Maciej Lampe, ex Knicks draft pick).

The Israeli national team beat the Italian national team in the final score of 78-74. Casspi efficient and solid and led Israel to the win while Belinelli was pretty much horrible. Israel will face Belgium tomorrow.
August 19, 2013 Belgium-Israel (European Basketball Tour 2013 / Antwerp-Lotto Arena) @20:30pm (13:30pm in Houston)
A bad game for the Israeli national team. They lost to Belgium by 18 (only 1Q was decent). Casspi led the team with 18 points (but pretty low %). He was active in D, but the rest of the players mostly looked like they were wandering aimlessly in the paint... 6 game summary: Casspi's ppg average is 19.17 (scored 14,22,20,24,17,18) No other statistics provided in last 3 games. (In 1st 3 games his rpg average was 10.0)

Hedo doing work early on. Asik still not starting. Can't beat out the great Oguz Savas. Just came in. Couldn't hold onto the ball twice. Then missed a makable layup, though he did get fouled in the process. Also playing: Don Draper, Ilyasova, Dario Saric (2014 draft), Ante Tomic (Jazz hold his rights). Edit: Oguz Savas with 11 of Turkey's 26 points. Looking like Pekovic light out there. Maybe he should mentor Dwight after all. Edit2: Asik starting the second half.
