Yes, but Yao's first name isn't Tang. I also really like the ingenuity of the Ming naval strategy. Everybody knows about the British Empire and its gunboat diplomacy, well, the Ming Dynasty was doing it 300 years earlier. When China and Japan fought the first war over Korea during the Tang Dynasty, Tang sent a force to aid the Silla and utterly crushed the Japanese. But when China and Japan fought over Korea in the second war, Ming did not even bother sending any ground troops except what was already in Korea. No, they sent a massive navy and blockaded Japan. Pretty soon the Japanese had to surrender. Those that did not starved to death.
Clubbing update- Beijing yesterday morning. Team went to the Great Wall - and back. Late night activities - Vic's (near the Worker's Stadium) - TMac, Deke, Ty Lue, David Hawkins - some of the Kings and some members of both dance teams were there.
