Things are looking good! I am a Morey fan - but Stone has been impressive! I love all this young hustlin talent that may actually vie for minutes - as opposed to unplayable projects taking up roster spots! I hated MDA so most anything would be an improvement... I wanted JVG but I'm warming to Silas... He's saying all the right things, playing a variety of styles and certainly more open to young unproven talent... we'll see if all that continues into the reg season... but I'm liking Silas thus far.. I cant wait for Blames Harden to be gone! Dude is leavin - so sooner his negative juju is gone the better! If James aint about the Rox future - then he needs to be in the past! Wood looked like a beast in his 1 game - hopefully he will get more of the same! Wood, Wall, Boogie, EGo, House, GG, whatever we get for Blames n PJ, all the youngsters... I think we are a playoff team without Harden - so lets get to it!
Why not? Offensively it's not that big of a reach. Rockets need to improve defensively however. Need to add another starter who can play 4 as well as small ball 5 switch everything. Wood is at his best in drop coverage, his defensive IQ has not caught up with his offensive IQ.
I hope you have a Merry Christmas. Because you will not be a happy camper in 2021 when Harden takes this team to another top 4 seed.
C Wood ain’t afraid of the Woods wouldn’t be surprised if Harden/Wall combo turns him into an all star. He has the talent, his Bball IQ needs to be there and remain focused amidst whatever happens.
1-7 this is one of the most talented rosters the Rockets have ever had. If Wood continues his ascent and Cousins and Wall stay healthy you have 4 all star level players and great role players inTucker, House and Gordon. All in their primes. Compare this to other times when the Rockets had big 3s and all those guys were much older than this group. I’m very excited for tomorrow!
With the Pistons last year, he was able to be a force without a playmaker like Harden or Wall. Now he has BOTH. Big expectations.
and I hope you have a Happy Holidays, sir! If Harden was to stick around another year - that'd be fine... I'm not gonna poo poo MVP caliber talent. My attitude has always been that if he doesnt want to be here - screw him... but if he decided tomorrow he wanted to commit and drop all the bs - cool! If I can adjust my view of D12, CP3 and WB when they became Rox, then I could certainly 'welcome Harden back' - but i dont think thats gonna happen.. and what I dont want to see is a buncha drama throughout the year waiting for the other shoe to drop and then having to shuffle the deck and integrate new guys at the trade deadline or whatever... as i said... if James doesnt want to be part of the Rox future - then he needs to be part of the Rox past.
Imagine Harden on a team with 3 All Stars, let alone 4. Hell give Harden 2 potential All Stars and get out of the way.
Here is a bulletin list for you. Wood for Wood Silas seems to be way better than Mike Stone seems to a good replacement Cousins + Wall
I am dissapoint with @Williamson Tilman Fertita is the obvious choice to stan for him now... but hes obviously lacking the guts to do the right thing what happened with him? he was never afraid to support people against ignorant violent cf masses and stand up to the crowd
lol its more youre afraid of masses or something....cause tilly is universaly disliked and considered a scrub par excellence ... its a perfect candidate for you to root for... perhaps you lost some of your game and out of your prime
