DMO never took the position by the horns and made it his.Anderson is getting paid to start so DMO is definitely on the move in my opinion. He should get a good deal though.
Guys relax. This was all explained to Dmo during dinner. They wouldn't be going through the trouble of shooting a vid for him to come back. Now they do want him at a bit of a discount so we'll see if they match any offer he may get or if he just signs outright on a 2 year deal.
BTW- I want to explain something to the clueless people that think DMo's back or past injury will hinder his contract or playing. Here is a bit from the Ryan Anderson signing "He missed 97 games with New Orleans, including 60 in 2013-14 after a collision in Boston led to him being removed on a stretcher and later having surgery to address a herniated cervical disk" So apparently having a back injury is not such a deal killer......after all... DD
Anderson is not a bad contract at all. I mean, would you rather have him or Jon Leuer + E'Twaun Moore (who make a combined $76M for 4 years)?
And I guess Anderson being one of the best 3 point shooters in the league had nothing to do with the money either?
That is silly. You need to watch the games before using the stats. Ryan Anderson is infinitely more dangerous with his lighting quick release and the bulk at which he can hit a high percentage. Night and day.
I believe you have to spend around 90% of your cap space or risk losing some $$ to all the NBA teams.
No, not at all, I hope he plays out of his mind, actually I hope he and Dmo play a switchable 4 and 5 with Capella and it works out. Check Dmo's 3pt percentage when he was playing consistent minutes, pretty much the same - ironically DMo is a better rebounder and defender. DD
If Anderson is a poor man's Kevin Love (as they say), what if they settled for a poor man's Ryan Anderson? Marvin Williams? Mirza Teletovic? Jon Leuer? Anthony Tolliver?
