[Rockets History]Which NBA team do we hate the most?

That's funny, I don't remember anybody ever starting an official "I hate the Spurs" thread.

The only real competition against the Jazz in a thread like this are the Spurs and the Mavs. The Spurs have always had pretty classy stars (Robinson and Duncan), plus I've always felt a little sorry for The Mermaid for that beatdown Hakeem gave him after he stole Dream's 1995 MVP trophy. The Mavs have been decent for, what, six years now? We used to beat the crap out of them on a regular basis. As far as all time hatred goes, nobody comes close to the Jazz. Almost 20 years worth of flopping, elbows, and dirty play. The old guard is gone, and the new Jazz players are better, but all those old memories will never be completely erased.

 

Jazz obviously. They cost us the one serious chance to prove ourselves against the Bulls.

 

That thread only went 9 pages? We should bump it, I wasn't a member then and my hatred of the Jazz still exists.

 

What???? No Seattle or Phoenix???? I'd say Jazz or Seattle, I think we've been beat by Seattle more than any other team in the playoffs, i know we've face them more than any other team

How any rockets fan can hate the mavs more than the spurs is beyond me.

How many Nba titles have the mavs won? They arent going to win one for a damn long time, with or without dirk and avery. But the Spurs,

I cant believe they've won more titles than the rockets, i hate that overrated bunch of defensive hacks and floppers in that crap city.

I want to pick the Sonics... but there isn't a real option for them? I hated them so much.

 

Man, I picked the Jazz, but it was tough over the Sonics (who should be listed on there before the Hornets).

 

Heat, Hornets, and Pistons listed but no Sonics? How the mighty have fallen.

Obviously, I despised the Sonics for a long time, but since they got rid of Kemp, George Karl, Schrempf, Perkins, Payton, etc. it's been impossible to really give a rat's ass about them... Ditto the Jazz.

The Lakers used to really piss me off when they were winning titles, and the Kings when they were the perennial "media darlings."

I've never really hated San Antonio outside of Duncan's rookie season after they had tanked to get him... Never really got the animosity towards Dallas either. But I do despise the Suns even more now than when they had Barkley and KJ...

All-time it has to come down between Seattle and Utah. A strong argument could be made for the Lakers as well, just since they've been thorns through a couple of different eras.

I dont mind the Spurs so much. They arn't so arrogant. The only guy I can't stand on the Spurs is Bruce Bowen.

 

Even though they kept us from winning more titles and shutting up all those people that squawk on about the Bulls,I respect Seattle.


I HATE the Jazz,their fans,and the owner.

But Jerry Sloan is a GREAT coach.

 

The Sonics have been the biggest bane to our existence. How many times have they knocked us out in overtime playoff games or ended championship runs. Man that team had our number. Even with Barkley it took us 7 games and sacraficing our clutch players in Horry and Cassell leaving us vulnerable to the Jazz.

 

theres no option for the rockets jk i have to think about this one, but i dont really like the mav's just because of the playoffs two years ago..
