I don't know if the league has something like "Top Ten Non-Finals Playoff Moments in League History," but if they do, that should be in there somewhere. Lord, he made a great center look like a helpless goofus. That, and Ralph's shot that eliminated the Lakers in '86.
Steve Nash was coaching Dwight on his FTs while he was in LA? Maybe Calvin Murphy will do a better job. CM actually stated that he was willing to help out the big guy with this and he said it was all mental.
Now the master plan is unveiled. Get assests -> to get Harden. Get Harden -> to get Dwight Howard. Get Howard -> to get Hakeem back. Hakeem was the real goal all along. moari.jpg

Agreed. Dream should work with the centers, and Calvin should work with Dwight (and the rest of the team sans James) on free throws. One day, the Rockets are gonna kill poor Calvin Murphy right in the studio by losing one too many games due to poor FT%.
besides quitten and T-whinny, most of former stars have good relationships with the team. Even Barkley who had some sour feelings has gotten over them to an extent.
This doesn't really matter when it comes to the subject of free throw shooting I doubt if Nash, Dream, Reggie Miller, Larry Bird would really improve Howard's free throws, I think that's up to him in practice It's not like learning the Dream shake, it's something he sucks at and needs to fix
Rumors have it that he is actually pretty good at them during practice, which is why so many people feel it is mental for him.
I've heard him say it's mental... says he goes to the line knowing everybody expects him to miss and he lets it get in his head. Think he said he was a 90% FT shooter in HS.
True. In terms of the mental approach, Dwight will be more responsive to a HOF legend whom he has trained with and walked the walk than an old PG. There, Hakeem can help him. If you look at FT% in practice, guarantee the majority of the NBA shoots over 80% (can confirm on Dwight if you really want me to, I know he has).
