I would much rather have Rondo on this team rather than Bosh. He's a great player and all, but it's clear we need a leader on the team. The whole "Share the Leadership" thing Harden and Dwight have going on just isn't working. We need a floor general that can run the show when McHale is doing his watching the huddle from the outside routine.
Lebron already knows everything he needs to know. What other major moves could Heat make and still offer him the max? This is what they bring to the table: Napier, Mcroberts, and Granger. I don't ink that really moves the needle for anyone. Cleveland on the other hand, can offer max money, YOUNG talent, the ability to add another star along with Kyrie and Lebron, and the opportunity to rebuild his image. He can compete in CLE for a long time and the fans there will love him forever.
You are right. I'm just trying to figure out why Carmelo is stalling with his decision. It seems like his decision is contingent on what happens to Bosh.
One would hope he gets the hint. Feels like LeBron has Carmelo waiting to replace Bosh as soon as he leaves.
Easy. They know if they lose Lebron they're completely screwed. So they go out and try to find the best pieces they can to make their case. They had to improve the roster somehow and they did (if only marginally). Will Lebron be impressed? I don't think so.
So according to some people, lebron wants to play with Carmelo, Bosh wants to play with lebron. Carmelo can only sign in Miami if Bosh comes to Houston. Bosh doesn't want to come to Houston because he wants to play in Miami with Lebron who could end up in Cleveland. Everyone is waiting on someone else to decide. Miami needs to tell Bosh that they want Carmelo and he's no longer needed, or Lebron needs to take his talents to Cleveland already. Someone do something already and get this thing going so we can all move on with our lives. Crazy times this offseason has been
