This is the same thought I had too. That LeBron wants to out Bosh and add Melo. Codman even made reference to this theory as well.

The Rockets basically are desperate, declining Parsons' option this year really forces their hand. If they don't get something done in the next week they might not be able to add another star without losing Parsons.
If we can't get James, Anthony or Love this off season what are we to do? Tell Howard to stand pat with our first round exit team while another years of his soon ending prime withers away? We need to win now, and if there is no better options available we shouldn't let cap space and les' cash (that we aren't going to have anyways since we're going to re-sign Parsons), get in the way of us improving our roster.
Without Asik to defend the likes of LMA and Duncan, Bosh is the perfect addition to our team. I hope he's still the defender and the decent shooter we've known he can be.
Folks caught up on Bosh's mediocre rebounding stats need to realize that he'd improve this team in so many other ways. He's a much better option than TJones on both offense and defense, will open up the mid-range game, can hit the spot up three with consistency. At the end of the day, Bosh would cost us no "assets" where as Love could cost us Parson, plus. Morey's aim is to win now and Bosh gets us closer to doing so, and IMO, gets us into the OKC/LAC/SAS territory.

Why couldn't this have started at 10:00am versus 10:00pm? I feel a fever coming and a call into the office around the corner.
