I disagree. He'd still be making max money in Houston, and there's a very, very high chance he opts out of the final year of his contract in hopes of getting one last big payday before he gets too old. Maybe he isn't planning on doing that, but it's certainly a viable option that is definitely still on the table for him.

Also, he can very well still live in Miami, regardless if he plays for the Heat or not. Plenty of non-Rockets players make their homes in Houston, and there's no reason he can't do the same with Miami.

He turned down a chance to win more championships to wallow in mediocrity. He wanted his extra money. Fine. I can understand that. But I absolutely cannot support that decision. Not in the slightest.

I would assume either they spend the money before signing Parsons (like they were going to do before), or they let him walk. Parsons isn't worth that kind of money to this team if they aren't going to compete for a title.

I'm pretty sure SAS is calling Chris Bosh dumb for not signing with Houston.

Today was not a total loss. We got rid of Jeremy Lin.

    Our Garm is bearable again.

Rockets "heavily engaged" with Chris Bosh? Did he just leave us at the alter for the Heat?

LOL can today get any more crazy, its been high comedy! I knew it was a real possibility but was shocked nonetheless and Loved Lebron going back to Cleveland. Then finally after weeks of thinking it was extremely extremely unlikely I finally thought, no expected Bosh was going to Houston, ONLY for Miami to swoop in at the last minute to keep him!! WOW!!

Huge congrats to Cleveland, mild applause for Miami to atleast salvage their playoff hopes and the 2015 pick they owe to Cleveland and finally pat on the back for Morey for swinging for the fences, unfortunately even Babe Ruth doesn't hit it out every game.

Guess you absolutely need to match Parsons then.

    Give the BAE to Daniels.

    MLE to another shooter.

    And TPE to Okafor.
