Take off your Rowdy Red glasses man. He was offered 30 million more dollars. And he gets to be the #1 or 2 option, vs being the third wheel here. And its MIAMI, I'm sure whatever place he's living is unbelievable. I understand being disappointed, I thought he would be a good fit also. That being said, I dont blame him one bit for staying.
Gotta feel for morey....really an un-heard of kind of job he has done to retool this roster in 3 years...making us possibly one player away from true title contention, with max salary available. Its just a shame that player turned out to be someone who prefers money over glory...knowingness of contention for the duration of your contract, over coasting in the east...so disappointed , its a business i know but man what else can a gm do to provide someone with every option possible....
man... what dont people understand? Chris Bosh was the ONLY power forward available that fit us perfectly. Pau Gasol? The dude that could barely play with Dwight two years ago? He can shoot jumpers, doesnt mean he's a sharp shooter. Deng? Ariza? They are going to want nearly as much money as Parsons and we'd just end up slightly worse then we were last year if we get them or be freakishly redundant with Parsons and one of them. This blows
Definitely! No way Parsons is worth $15 million TO US now. Let Dallas ride out that albatross of a contract. I'd rather work the phones for Love or get Bledsoe/Deng/Stephenson with our cap space.
This is seriously gutting. Houston is now officially where professional sports goes to die. Andre Johnson doesn't even want to be part of this anymore.

We can't let Chandler walk. We can't waste another year of Howard's prime and Chandler is too good of a piece to just let walk away. You sign some guys with the space and then you match Chandler. 3 year deals aren't terrible.
Ken Berger @KBergCBS ยท 23s With Chris Bosh back in Miami and Dwyane Wade up next, rival execs expecting Riley to make a run at Luol Deng or Trevor Ariza.
Without Parsons, what the hell do we have to offer Minnesota for Love?? Why would Love even agree to sign a deal here when he knows he can get dealt to Golden State or Cleveland instead??
