If I were Bosh I would rather join Dallas than us.

Why? Our core is much younger and in a greater need of him, fit-wise. With Chandler and Dirk in DAL, what is Bosh's first position? How's that working anyways?

Here, stretch 4 (his natural and preferred position). Just what we needed. Dwight needs a small rest? Bosh can fill in some time at the 5 as well. Perfect.

What to play small forward? They have Tyson chandler and dirk this year, none of them are useful on the bench.

I'm also pretty sure Dallas has off-ed all their cap space, what with the Chandler (FELTON!) trade, the Dirk re-signing, and the Devin Harris Roflmao.

You'd rather play for less money on a worse team that already has two $10+ million players in the frontcourt (Dirk and Chandler)?

While that is certainly true, it's mostly the fact they have Dirk playing at the 4 already.. wouldn't make a ton of sense to have two elite 4's and no elite players at any other position.

After the previous 9 posts explained just that, I felt that it was better if I just NBA nerd-raged at the Mavs instead of explaining, once again, that the idea was stupid and the OP was a bundle of sticks.

roster wise Houston would be a much better fit for Bosh over the next 5 yrs.

Why would he go to Dallas? That's where he's from, and maybe he looks at it like he has two rings and the timing is good to go back home.

If Lebron does indeed leave I think Bosh will come to Houston.

Bosh is not a max player, but it is better than nothing.

I like how when East coast people think being in Houston is almost the same thing as being in Dallas since it's all Texas. They must think because they're in the same state you can just hop from city to city like you're going from Brooklyn to Manhattan. The distance from Dallas to Houston is further than the distance from DC to NYC.
