Time for Lebron to **** or get off of the pot so everything starts moving. His drama queen act is getting old. He can't stand not to be the center of attention.
Marc Stein: LeBron went looking for answers not only now but for the future. Heat were there for one reason: to get a commitment. Obviously they didn't. Time table? People assume we'll hear today or tomorrow. Chris Bosh wants to know. He's made it clear he wants to stay but only if LeBron is there. Clock is ticking in Houston. If they match on Parsons, they're out on Bosh. They'd love to get a commitment from Bosh and make a Parsons decision one way or the other. They'd have to move out Asik, Lin, and another 4 million in salary. Worst case is letting Parsons go and missing out on Bosh. Carmelo today or tomorrow. Word last night was end of the week, maybe as soon as today.
I'm pretty sure he has a cell phone and someone's relayed that to him. If he really wants to be here instead of Miami if LeBron bolts, he's gonna demand to know something soon.
Do you ever sleep??? I thank you for your tireless work keeping us all informed!!! I would rep you again if I could!!!
Sure there is. We just sign Bosh and then match Parsons. The tricky part will be if Bosh demands max money. Then we have to move not only Lin, but also D-Mo and possibly even T-Jones(while taking back no salary). That would leave us with a terrific starting 5 but practically no bench.
yes. Get rid of jones and dmo, sign bosh, then match parsons OR get bosh to sign a bit under max and then match parsons without having to get rid of tjones and DMO. This is all assuming the deal with philly for lin that has been agreed upon goes through with Bosh's commitment to houston
The dominoes have to fall just right. We have to complete the Asik trade, trade Lin, then sign Bosh, and finally match Parsons all before the 3 day window which started when Parsons signed the Mavs offer sheet. The clock is ticking now while we wait on drama queen Lebron!!
Before Parsons signed his deal with Dallas, I think we would have been able to get to the max by trading Asik, Lin, D-Mo and Canaan (if Capela stays overseas) Now, to get to his full max, I think we would have to trade Jones as well. I'm not sure about that but I think so.
I'm developing a strong dislike of Lebron, Melo, Dallas, and maybe even Parsons. Funny thing is... One month ago I was indifferent at worst on all four.
