I hope so, but if you want add Bosh to the team he would also have to be willing to take less than the max. It will all work out in the end.
Actually, you know what has come back to bite this team in the butt? Chandler Parsons All he has to do is let the Bosh chip fall. If he signs the offer sheet tomorrow, and the Rockets miss out on getting Bosh because they can't offer the max, then that's Parson's fault. 100%
LeBron has ED. He will have a press conference for it in the coming days. And he will retire from the league.
We'll reports say 1201 am so he's signing the first possible minute he can. Not gonna wait till noon. Wish he's hold up until evening time or something
me too, i was foolin yall, of course I know the difference between am pm. I passed 6th grade, gee golly willickers
Not really. 1. By making him a restricted free agent we keep the chance of retaining him, by making him an unrestricted free agent, he could walk without us having a chance to match 2. Part of his value is his production/contract ratio. Once his pay surpasses his production, there is no longer value. (That's not to say he can't grow into his new max contract, but that's not gauranteed.) Could this situation been avoided all together? Possibly by extending or working out a deal before this years free agency, but who knew that Gordan freaking Hayward would get maxed out?
And what about the reports that A) they negotiated all day and couldn't come to an agreement, and B) CP is going to sign at the stroke of midnight? I'd have thought they'd have an agreement too, but it doesn't sound like they were able to come to one.
