I'd think that if Lebron signs a 1-2 year deal in Miami, then Bosh will also sign a 1-2 year deal in Miami. Only way he's in Houston is if Lebron leaves or Miami signs Carmelo or somebody else instead of Bosh
@lullonsports 7-8-14 11:30 "Spent a lot of time and money working the LBJ story tonight. No guarantees, but feeling odds are well in favor of his return to CLE, FWIW." ----solid cav source, guy who broke dans plane was headed to FLA. while he was on vacation
I think that's exactly backwards. The Rockets are going to be really good with or without Bosh and there's no way in hell Bosh gets a max or near max deal anywhere but here. We don't get Bosh? We move on to another potential piece. We pull our offer? Bosh loses like 20 mil.
Bosh will never get a max offer again. Bosh isn't dumb, I really doubt he's going to take like $12 million a year just to play with LeBron. If he does then he is a r****d and we're better off leaving the mentally handicapped off the team.
If Bosh signs a 1 or 2 year deal, no way he'll find a deal like the Rockets' are offering right now. Plus, the Rockets aren't looking to wait for any one player to play out his contract. They're looking to contend NOW. Bosh would be making a huge mistake.
And save Houston it is probably best long-term for him if they can add Love. Could offer Minnesota Brendan Haywood (contact non guaranteed next year and only $2.3m this year), Tristan Thompson, Karasev, and their 2015 1st for Love and taking on Kevin Martin. And the Cavs would still (after clearing Jarrett Jack) have: PG: Irving SG: Wiggins, Martin SF: James, Bennett PF: Love, Bennett C: Varajeo, Zeller And a valuable piece in Dion Waiters to trade. That is the clear favorite in the East, while being very young and a great combo of offense and defense. Damn, LeBron should go to Cleveland.
Do we really need him that bad though? I know I'm in the minority here, and I might get crucified for saying this, but I believe we have championship talent as is! What we really need is to improve team cohesiveness. Everyone holding each other accountable on the defensive end, and sharing the ball on the offensive end. Better team chemistry, players playing for one another. We need to have the hunger to win! Now don't get me wrong, Bosh would catapult us into great heights. The guy is an obvious upgrade over the young Terrence Jones, without a doubt. But to act like he's a completely dire piece we MUST have, I think it's a bit much. With all that said, I still hope we get him. You can never go wrong with adding talent to the roster. Specially a talent like Bosh.
You think Minnesota would trade Kevin Love for Haywood, Thompson, Karasev, Waiters and their 2015 1st? I wouldn't. If I was Minnesota, any discussions with Cleveland for Love would have to include Wiggins. And a future draft pick. Work out the rest of the details from there.
Well you can't get married until the divorce is finalized in Texas so let's hope Christoph gets in and out of probate quickly so we can say our vows and consummate this bad boy with some bench signings.
Yeah, you right. <a href="http://s839.photobucket.com/user/Jose_Cruuz/media/white_zps12259d62.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/zz315/Jose_Cruuz/white_zps12259d62.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo white_zps12259d62.jpg"/></a>
