No matter what the outcome of the game is, the conspiracy theorists will be incessant.

Welp, the NBA instituted Wistlemania for the Lakers so how can people not be sceptical?

The Warriors basically got royally Sacto King'd and nobody even cares.

It's almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy. We think the refs will be biased and therefore interpret the calls with more scrutiny. In reality, it's entirely possible that calls are no different from other games... but LA does have the home advantage. I feel like Rockets get that home advantage treatment too though and receive favorable calls on home games.

Sit Asik in the first half and lets have a scorefest. Run with Lin, Beverly, Harden, Parsons, and Delfino. Go for the steal every time on defense. Concede the paint, but foul Dwight when appropriate. Then put in Asik and Smith in the 2nd half. Asik covers Gasol.....Hack a Dwight for all our PFs.

The advantage we have over GSW is we have more players in the front court to throw at Dwight/Gasol. Ezeli, Landry, Lee, and Biedrins were all GSW had (20 fouls total). We have Asik, Smith, DMo, TRob, TJones, and even Delfino.

It was -3 earlier. Lots of late money betting on Rockets and Jazz.

Not unless David Stern wishes to re-create Linsanity.

Linsanity for NBA coverage > Lakers getting into playoffs.

Headline reads, "Linsanity 2.0 overcomes crooked NBA refs."

David Stern will wash his hands of this conspiracy, as the media points to some mafia organization associated with the Lakers hiring the Refs.

    People are weird......

The Lakers starting back court is OUT.... No Kobe Bryant and no Steve Nash... and now some people are spinning this as a NEGATIVE for the Rockets... that "Since Kobe has been out the backcout has been very good." The Lakers are missing their best player and their third best player.. that is a HUGE advantage for the Rockets.

Metta World Peace, whom will probably be guarding Harden, is so banged up that he cannot even dunk right now........ HUGE advantage for the Rockets.

The Rockets are coming off of an embarrassing loss, with a lot to prove, and are not in the back end of a back to back.

If the Rockets lose tonight, it will be because they just didnt get the job done.

Lakers always get refs favoritism even during regular season games. I can't stress how many close games the refs screwed up and helping the Lakers win. Remember a 3pt potential tying shot by Rubio and Kobe foul him and there is no call?? Well, the next day the NBA issue a statement that that should have been a foul on Kobe. Remember, how the Kings got screwed up during their Playoffs run?? There is just so many i can't remember...basically, the refs fear Kobe Bryant and calling everything in favor of him because it seems like they're afraid Bryant is going to yell at them or something. It's unjust and that's one reason i hate about NBA refs, they're the most inconsistent refs in ANY sports. Nobody should get superstar treatment whether you're rookie or elite players, all calls suppose to be fair and just...that's what the refs are for.

Yeah. I thought there might be a difference from ref to ref but they are all pretty much the same (slight home court bias), even guys that everyone hates like Joey Crawford. Only difference is that some are more whistle happy, but these guys are pretty middle of the road in that respect.

It a must win for both team because no one want to face OKC. It is a bigger must for Lakers if Jazz win earlier, which I double it. Memphis want home court advantage, so they wanted to win too. Clipper is currently holding the tie breaker against memphis.
