I wish some of you so called basketball experts on this site would realize that a really good coach knows how to unleash, maximize, and develop its players where they may be weak or tentative. Swift has exposed not only how poor JVG is as an offensive strategist, but how weak he is as an overall Head NBA Coach that can develop players, and has done so to an extent that is far greater than what JVG has exposed concerning Swift`s weakness. The Hornet game is the best case scenario for said statement.
OK, then Swift has "exposed" every coach he's had in 5 1/2 years in the NBA. LOL! It's amazing how Swift's apologists blame everything on JVG when Stro is just being Stro. If he has a breakout year, JVG will deserve the lions share of credit for doing what no other coach was able to do. If Stro continues averaging 9/5, he's just being what he's always been. I've said plenty about JVG's offensive strategies, but to blame him for Stro's failures, inconsistency and lack of offensive skills after coaching him for less than 30 games is ludicrous. But some people are locked in. I really hope Stro succeeds here. The problems is between his ears. If he ever decides to play hard every game and really dedicates himself to improving his skillset, he could be an average to above average starting PF. This is up to Stro, not JVG.
