EG+minimum+pick would be great. i doubt tilman pays the tax. plus the appeal for orlando would be a playoff push, not clearing cap space. i think we'd have to find them a starting PG in a 3 team deal.
Hate to burst your wishlist bubble, but why would the Magic trade there star piece for a aging Gordon? This aint gonna happen dude... lol Kinda like if Magic said hey lets trade Bama, Gordon and 1st round for Harden and Capela, we need to turn this franchise around. Morey would say na, those 2 players aint gonna get you a ring right now, nor in the future.

you underestimate the stupidity of the magic. they are among the worst decision makers in the league with the kings, wolves, and knicks. i don't think they would want eric for aaron, but if we can package gordon's expiring contract and a pick for a starting PG i think the magic would be interested. they have enough depth at F to move aaron gordon's value to the PG spot to balance their roster. Their goal is the playoffs just so they can be profitable. they're not building a championship team around aaron gordon. i'm not saying its gonna happen or likely to happen, just that its plausible to put a package together than the magic would want using gordon and picks and finding a third team. I'm sure its one of many plausible options that won't work out for a gordon trade this season.
They have already gotten back to the playoffs with Gordon, why would they trade him for older guys who are approaching F/A? If they wanted to trade Gordon they can get a much better package.
people forgot he got pretty sick during the jazz series. i think it effected him more than people realize edit: wrong team
4 starting PFs on roster: Aminu, AG, Isaac (6th Overall Pick - 2017), Chuma (FRP) Also have 5's w/ability to play 4 spot: Vucevic (Magic's only All Star) and Bamba (6th Overall Pick - 2018) I'd trade for any of Orlando's PFs.
So why would they want Tucker? So you think Bamba can play the 4, really? I could see Orlando trading Gordon not just to Houston for that package.
I don't think we can get Aaron Gordon for Eric Gordon but I do believe that Aaron Gordon is on the trading block. If Orlando's front office believes that he can be a franchise player, why draft Jonathan Isaac @6 in 2017, Mo Bamba @6 in 2018, and then Chuma Okeke this past draft? Either their FO is really incompetent (high chance here) or they think Gordon's expendable. The contract he signed is still a good value contract so trading him wouldn't be impossible.
Needs more guys who take defense seriously. Right now we are looking at a team blatantly trying to outscore opponents.
This year when Clint gets stuck out on the perimeter on a switch, he can leak out after the shot, let Russ grab the rebound and throw it down court to him.
so making the playoffs once is enough? sad. and maybe they could get a better package, depends on picks. remember this is the same team that traded oladipo for ibaka, and then traded ibaka for ross.
Rockets had a big three (2017-18: Harden, Paul, Capela) and then a big one (2018-19: Harden) and now a big two (2019-20: Harden, Westbrook) but I'm still waiting on that big six.
the people who did the trade trade for Obama are no longer there so that trade has no bearing on what they would do now. You kept saying they were trying to make the playoffs when they already have, so why would they break up a playoff team to get lesser older players? Maybe you just did not know that Orlando has a different front office and coaching staff. That's the only way I can make sense of your argument.
